At Danfoss hf., we are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to take on the role of GS Country Manager. This position entails a wide range of responsibilities, including overseeing accounting functions, managing invoices, procurement activities, liaising with payroll representatives, monitoring inventory levels, and more. If you possess a background in accounting and thrive in an autonomous work environment, you might be the ideal candidate we are looking for. The position will be based in Reykjavik, Iceland.

 

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

Supervision of accounting processes, Purchasing and monitoring inventory, Processing invoices for payment, Liaising with payroll officers and accountants, Communicating with customers, tax authorities, and other stakeholders, Handling various financial administration tasks, Performing other related duties as required. Approved bookkeeper or a degree in business administration, Knowledge and experience in bookkeeping, General computer proficiency and strong Excel skills, Positive attitude and effective communication abilities, Interest and ambition in the role, Familiarity with SAP is advantageous, Punctuality, accuracy, and reliability, Fluency in both Icelandic and English.
