Global SIOP, Demand/Supply Planning & ERP Specialist

The Global SIOP, Demand/Supply Planning, and ERP Specialist will drive the design and implementation of best practices and improvements for the SIOP process and Demand Management, ensuring seamless integration with Supply Planning across various business platforms. This role will document processes and provide crucial support to SIOP leaders and demand planners.

The specialist will collaborate on developing and refining tools, practices, and data initiatives to align sales forecasts with manufacturing sites and finance operations. Key responsibilities include participating in SIOP process integration and review meetings, and working closely with Demand Planners, SIOP leaders, Manufacturing, Materials Management, Commercial, Finance, and IT teams to enhance overall planning effectiveness and integration.

Responsibilities:

Actively participate in the design developing and integration of the data flow to ensure forecast output for Manufacturing, Finance and other functions is properly set up and maintained (Data mapping, integration, transformation, and flow).

Coach Demand planners for best practices.

Participates or initiate activities to ensure high degree of data integrity within ERP’s.

Support introduction of new collaborative tools/data flows to improve SIOP process efficiency.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Information Technology, and 8–10 years of relevant experience.

At least 7 years of experience in business analytics, logistics, SIOP forecasting design and deployment, forecasting tool and data flow integration, and demand planning.

Strong background in data analysis, business intelligence, and forecasting tools.

Planning experience in developing effective plans to support long-term business objectives.

Proficient with MS Office products, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, charts).

Hands-on experience with ERP systems.

Experience in setting up forecasting tools (AI tools desirable), from designing and gathering business requirements to implementing demand planning processes and leading demand reviews.

Project management abilities.

Understanding of forecasting techniques.

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Critical problem-solving skills are essential.

Ability to travel 15%-20% of the time, including domestic and international travel to any Flowserve sites worldwide.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

Master’s degree in Business Administration or Information Technology is a plus.

Professional certification in Demand Planning & Forecasting is also a plus.

Experience with forecasting and analytics for demand planning.
