About this position
Aptiv is seeking a Salesforce Manager to be responsible to monitor, maintain and enhance the user base and Salesforce application. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the automotive industry and general business process flow.
Manage Salesforce.com (SFDC) instances and partner supplier relationships including day to day guidance and problem solving.
Understand all aspects of Salesforce configuration, technical/functional capabilities, and best practices including all changes and potential system implications related to the Salesforce/Partner release upgrades.
Serve as key liaison with IT technical resources in areas related to system support – Single Sign On, Proxy Server, Active Directory, Service Now, O365, Qlik, Jira and internal systems.
Work with internal customers to gather requirements and lead application customization including for projects - maintain harmony across business unit specific applications and all SFDC applications.
Ensure tool reflects business processes as defined by project teams.
Maintain, manage and develop changes to the system including, but not limited to, managing user setup and security, profiles and roles, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
Certified SFDC Sales Cloud Consultant and Service Cloud consultant advantageous
10+ years of Salesforce experience in Sales cloud and Service cloud
Understand business requirements and how to effectively translate to Salesforce
Possess both strong process and Salesforce configuration skills to understand how changes may impact entire user universe
Expertise of SFDC best practices and governance standards
Strong working knowledge of SFDC platform out-of-the-box functionality, customizations, configurations, salesforce lightning components, LWC, workflows, automations, validations, reports, dashboards
Strong knowledge on Integration and migration projects
Solid understanding of business acumen and information technology processes
Project management utilizing Agile methodology
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
Must be capable of establishing influential and collaborative relationships with team members and leadership
Strong leadership skills to manage a team of developers
Highly motived, excels in a team environment, innovative individual able to work independently with minimal supervision
Results-oriented, timeliness, attention to detail and accuracy
Effective approach to problem solving
Automotive industry knowledge would be plus
Manufacturing cloud knowledge would be plus
