Global Solutions Expert - Food Industry & HydronicS
Job Description

In Danfoss, we recognize that new agriculture technologies used in vertical farming, land-based fish farming, and alternative protein production could support the transformation to a sustainable food supply chain. Additionally, the traditional food industry can greatly benefit from solutions offered by Danfoss Climate Solutions (DCS) to reduce their carbon footprint and become more efficient, resilient, and sustainable.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing efficient and reliable system applications for heating and cooling, such as HVAC, heat pump systems, hydronic design, and water system management for the Food Industry. You will be a member of the Global Solutions Expert team within Danfoss Climate Solutions (DCS) and will report directly to the Director of Global Solutions Experts. You will be providing technical support for opportunities in the global food industry and working closely with relevant stakeholders in a matrix organization.

We believe to meet the climate goals the systems would become more integrated in the future. For example, waste heat from a data center cooling could meet the heating demands of a greenhouse. The linkage between sectors and related systems is through hydronic systems. Additionally, new developments such as AI and the desire to make Data Centers more efficient will accelerate the deployment of new cooling technologies. As part of this role, you will be supporting opportunities in Data Centers based on your knowledge and experience in the hydronic system design and HVACR industry in general.

The position requires travel to customers, and Danfoss offices spread globally for meetings with colleagues with functions such as Sales/R&D/Marketing. Hence domestic and international travel not to exceed 25% may be required. It is our preference that this person is located onsite at our facility in Tallahassee, Florida.  Relocation assistance will be provided for the right candidate.
