Global Sourcing Analyst

You will be managing incoming procurement project requests from buyers and global or regional category managers based in the world areas (e.g. Americas, Europe, Middle East, Asia), and will lead planning and execution of a procurement projects, which will include stakeholder engagement and assessment of project requirements, development and execution to project schedules and timelines, coordination and management of requests for quotation (RFQ’s) with suppliers, and direct contact and outreach to regional suppliers.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Support commercial negotiations and make recommendations based on sound understanding of the Indirect organization’s commodity strategies and with full and clear sponsorship of the indirect global category leadership Facilitate and coordinate dialogue with business stakeholders and procurement category managers to gather project requirements Data collection, cost/volume and parametric data analysis using a variety of analytical tools Project planning and management, including tracking/reporting bid timing progress via the project plans, facilitating project progress calls Monitor implementation of procurement awards and documenting the impact of cost change Publication of electronic requests for quotation and online reverse auctions, including design of event rules and choice of appropriate event formats and types  Ensure company’s business rules, policies and ethics are followed by project participants and suppliers  Provide project support for a variety of related category development projects in-region including new supplier identification and development, contract management, and tactical and operational work with strategic 3rd party partners

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or related discipline At least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain including Indirect Materials and Services, MRO (Manufacturing, Repair and Operations) Proficiency in Microsoft Power Point, Excel, and Word software, as well as e-Procurement tools (Ariba, Oracle Procurement / Sourcing Applications, etc.) Excellent analytical skills and ability to review and provide detailed analysis of indirect costs Interpersonal communication skills are essential including appropriate language skills to ensure proper communication with the global sourcing team. Fluent English is Required  Demonstrate competency in working and excelling in a team environment including the ability to interact across all levels of management within the organization. Ability to work on multiple programs and customers is essential

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 

Strong project management skills including problem-solving capabilities Commodity or category management experience in a procurement role is preferred
