Job Description:WORK EXPERIENCE:
3+ years of related work experience2+ years of Sourcing, Product Development, Buying, Planning or Production Management experienceEDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required.SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Strong interpersonal, written, verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levelsStrong organizational skills and attention to detail required to meet multiple deadlines in frequently changing environmentAbility to analyze, articulate, and solve problems and concepts to make effective business decisionsResponds positively to change, embracing and using new practices or values to accomplish goals and solve problemsAbility to understand and execute strategic plansKnowledge of Import logistics, Customs and Factory ComplianceAbility to measure and analyze performance using key performance indicatorsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; emphasis on Power Point and ExcelAcceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job dutiesATTENDANCE:
Ability to work flexible hours such as evening, weekends, and holidays as necessarySOME DUTIES:
Responsible for the Import PO placement process working with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timelinessCollaborate with Suppliers, Merchants and other stakeholders to manage and control non-conforming Purchase Orders and ensuring OTB AccuracyManage Purchase Order shift requests to assist on the achievement of assigned product sales plansAttend vendor and cross functional meetings and prepare necessary materials as requiredPartner with Product Development, Merchants, Import Logistics, Quality Assurance, Vendor Compliance and other departments to ensure supplier's questions and concerns are resolved timely and completelyDocument and review monthly KPI's; assist in developing/ implementing corrective action plansDevelop technical knowledge of related product categories including but not limited to: construction, production cycles and lead-time requirements, industry standards and sourcing strategiesSupport supplier/factory set upsLead supplier on-boarding and training process for assigned productsManage and maintain supplier relationships to achieve desired company goalsAssist in the documentation of Standard Operating ProceduresSupport sourcing strategyDevelop a thorough understanding of Academy policies, procedures and safety rulesDuties may change; team members may be required to perform other duties as assignedFull timeEqual Employment OpportunityAcademy is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate with regard to employment opportunities or practices on the basis of race, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other category protected by law.
