Your role and responsibilities•\tYou shape the selection, setup, development, and monitoring of external manufacturing service providers (focused on Europe and Asia) as well as the assigned commodities.•\tDevelopment of commodity strategies and strategic risk management in alignment with company objectives.•\tYou are responsible for managing complex inquiries and tenders for assigned commodities.•\tOrganization of order processing and ensuring the agreed delivery quality and quantity.•\tStrategic and operational target setting for your team and the commodities assigned to you, in coordination with Global Sourcing management, and implementation considering optimal inventory levels, coverage, and turnover rates.•\tYou analyze national and international procurement markets and define global commodity strategies.•\tEnsuring permanent structured reporting.•\tYou support planning in ramp-up and ramp-down management and assist controlling with inventory management.•\tYou define cost targets and identify savings potential in close collaboration with Global Sourcing management.•\tIn cases of high escalation levels, you personally intervene (availability/quality) and develop measures to minimize risk.•\tProfessional and disciplinary leadership and development of employees.
Qualifications for the role\tSuccessful completion of a business or technical university degree (university or university of applied sciences).\tRelevant professional experience of several years (minimum 7 years) in an international procurement environment.\tStrong market knowledge and experience, particularly in the field of electronic components, is an advantage.\tIntercultural experience, including in the Asian market.\tTeam-oriented personality with excellent negotiation skills.\tHigh level of self-responsibility and a strong drive for innovation.\tHands-on mentality.\tLeadership experience and change management skills.\tProficient use of MS Office applications, experience with the SAP MM module.\tExcellent German and English skills, additional foreign languages are an advantage.
