Who will you be working with?
The Wabtec Global Speak Up, Wabtec! Leader will lead all aspects of the global Speak Up Wabtec open reporting program, including maintaining and developing new processes and managing the part-time global Compliance Champions network that ensures prompt and high-quality resolution of integrity matters, enables timely and meaningful risk trend identification, and encourages a robust open reporting culture and overall strong culture of compliance.
This high-visibility role will ensure adherence to program governance requirements and engage directly in the overall case management process, reporting/analytics, training, and Company-wide communications associated with Open Reporting and compliance. This position reports into the HR function and reports directly to the Company’s Vice President Legal – Labor & Employment.
How will you make a difference?
You will promote an effective Open Reporting program globally across the Company. This person will provide oversight and active management on integrity concern investigations, reporting, documentation, and closure of all Open Reporting concerns – ensuring prompt, consistent, high-quality resolution of matters and a fair investigative approach that is respectful of our employees. You will work with business leaders to develop strategies to promote a robust open reporting culture, including delivering enterprise-wide engagement and training.
You will also prepare and report-out to CHRO, GC, Chief Compliance Officer and other important stakeholders on key trends and metrics, escalate significant issues to leadership, actively monitor for trends, patterns, root cause and emerging risks, and assist with development and implementation of mitigation strategies. You will also prepare materials for the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors. This role will also increase transparency of the Speak Up Wabtec Program by building strong relationships with decision makers and stakeholders, including but not limited to Internal Audit, HR, EHS, IT, Legal, and Operations to ensure alignment and support of business needs. You will also recruit, train, coach and develop local Compliance Champion representatives and develop strategies for engagement of Compliance Champions. You will proactively train HR, EHS, Legal and Finance teams and others on conducting investigations. This role will also support Vice President Legal – Labor & Employment in ensuring that leaders and managers are aware of compliance policies and their obligations under those policies. You will need to be flexible to support other compliance and HR initiatives and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
What do we want to know about you?
