Global Sr. Manager Performance Systems - Manufacturing

The Global CI Sr. Manager is responsible for providing guidance and coordinating the IPS (Ingredion Performance System) advancement and waste reduction initiatives globally, providing the strategy, methodology, and technical support to drive business results, process harmonization, and cultural alignment, securing sustainable in alignment with Global teams.

Core Responsibilities:

Ingredion Performance System Management Pillar SME

Serves as an organizational transformation agent to drive IPS and Continuous Improvement strategy implementation.Supports the design of Ingredion Performance System (IPS) implementation/ maturity design for the segments to achieve the global targets.Acts as the SME for the Management pillar but is the main liaison for other IPS Pillars (Reliability, Quality, People, and Safety. to secure coordination.Provide guidance and training od specific tools to improve the general knowledge and performance (OEE, RCA, FCA, etc.)Supports the global setting and cascading process in the segments, reviewing the alignment of TOP KPI baselines, securing the communication process and coordination with the Global and Segment functional teams.

Strategic Support for IPS (Ingredion Performance System) Implementation and Maturity

Participate of the Global IPS Committee to suggest improvements in the Management System according to experience during implementation and sustainability, align strategy to address new challenges and received ongoing training updates.Perform IPS assessments every six months to strategic sites/ channels that completed IPS Management Pillar implementation to ensure the sustainability of the IPS system after implementation and harmonize the IPS assessment criteria.

Waste Reduction

Align TOP KPIs for the business and segment teams and deploy and track key process—performance metrics according to the standard best operating guidelines for the sites.Work closely with the functional teams to identify gaps and recommend adequate resolution strategies (routines, improvement, and/ or projects) necessary to achieve the performance of TOP KPIs.Drive and support segment waste reduction activities, including cost reduction and productivity enhancements, by leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills to support plant management in identifying key success drivers and executing improvement objectives, as well as supporting the execution of routine and PDCA activities (Scrum, SMED, LSS, Kaizen, SPC, etc.).

Connectivity Systems

Support the Global Ingredion Performance System digital transformation initiatives with the Global IPS—Connectivity Systems team and the Data Architecture and Data Analytics team. Providing feedback to, IPS app implementation, development of OEE, RCA, Routine dashboards, databases framework, etc.Support the implementation and sustainability of Management System tools, such as routine dashboards, OEE measurement, and other routine indicators.

Knowledge Management and People Development

Participates in the skill gap analysis, training, and mentoring of IPS plant teams/ individuals to ensure the critical team's successful growth through the collaboration with Global training team.Identify and create a succession plan for IPS candidates (pipeline)Establish collaborative relationships with business and functional units in the region to ensure alignment of improvement programs.

Qualified candidates will have:

Expert-level influencer with proven change management skills.Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Manufacturing engineering.Demonstrated manufacturing process experience. Experience with refining and chemical transformation processes is a plus.Trained in Lean Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing Practices and SPC. Green Belt minimum, Black Belt preferred.Strong knowledge of digital systems including OEE, integrated action tracking, and KPI reporting.Understanding of Digital tools, Power BI and SQL experience, electronic paperwork, or other digital process improvement solutionsExperience implementing OEE, and SPC

Desirable requirements:

Experience implementing management systems (ISO, etc.).5 years of continuous improvement experience.5 years of Manufacturing related experience
