Your role: As a Global Strategic Capex Project Manager you own a crucial position for the success of our Life Science Capex investments and business growth within the Capex Management & PMO Team in LS ISCO – E&T. You will enhance and deploy overall CAPEX management processes and best-in-class project management methods, systems, and tools. Your effort will help us to ensure that we can proactively plan our initiative portfolio, advance robust initiative proposals, and ensure rigorous execution to achieve our business commitments.

Your key tasks will involve leading and supporting projects and initiatives in our Capex environment with high leadership and stakeholder visibility.

One of these key initiatives will be the support of the OLC (Operations Leadership Council) cross-sector Capex harmonization project. Another important project is the setup of a new global E&T resource model to enable our leadership to steer our resources and capabilities adequately. Furthermore, you should lead the development of a Portfolio management solution to get an overview of the overall status of the Capex portfolio.

Additionally, a review of Capex approval submissions to CPRB, IVC, GL, and BOP will be necessary to ensure compliance with our Capex Guidelines.

Your role will also involve supporting and where necessary, leading other initiatives and projects related to transformation projects. Lastly, you will provide support for ad-hoc and regular report requests from the CEO office, LSET, and GL concerning the Capex portfolio and individual projects.

Who you are:

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or other relevant field, Master's degree is advantageous3+ years of business experience, ideally around consulting or engineering, preferably in a multinational / matrix environment (life science or pharma and/or within our company)Experience in leading projects & initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups in an organizationExcellent facilitation and presentation skills, advanced in MS PowerPoint and ExcelGood stakeholder management skills across all levels (e.g. executives, engineers, etc.)Excellent communication skills (fluent English mandatory)Able to develop executive level presentations and reports independently
