Job DescriptionAim of the position: The main goal of the position is to generate concepts, designs, and fabricate custom automated
equipment used to manufacture various water treatment products. This is accomplished through capital project
management and by leading a team of motivated engineers and technicians.
Tasks, responsibilities:
• Exercise technical skills in the areas of; Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and PLC programming related
to custom automated equipment design.
• Able to travel regionally & globally as needed to start-up and commission custom equipment solutions.
• Ensure efficient allocation of resources within the department in order to meet budget, schedule, and performance targets.
Cleary communicate project reviews and status to stakeholders across the organization.
• Establish strong collaboration between all supply chain functions (SME, Maintenance, EHS, Quality, Production) to promote successful equipment & technology handoff.
• Able to connect with global colleagues to understand customer needs related to automation and engineered
equipment solutions.
• Create partnership with the Technology function in areas of innovation and to support the transfer of NPI and NTI projects.
• Understand and communicate financial and business case details that support investments.
• Generate creative and innovative solutions that enable global factories to decrease costs, increase capacities, and produce high quality products.
• Generate and manage new equipment documentation, operating instructions, and maintenance instructions in co-operation with the relevant functions and colleagues.
• Compliance with occupational safety, health and environmental requirements by all local, state, and national
authorities.
People management:

• to continuously improve his/her professional skills; to play an active role in succession planning
• People review: Prepare for the annual people review and carry out the actions identified

Required qualification and experience:
• University or college degree (Bachelor’s in Engineering)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Engineering and equipment design.
• experience in people-manager role for at least 10 years
• English knowledge
• basic computer skills
• Experience in managing investment projects (up to +25M USD)
Desired qualifications:
Familiarity with water treatment technologies including UF, RO, and NF membranes.
Lean six sigma knowledge
SAP user skills
Chemical handling experience, liquids & solids.
ATEX and XP equipment and electrical classifications experience
