The Global Supply Chain Responsible Sourcing Lead oversees the sourcing strategy for Yum Global Supply Chain by developing and implementing a global sourcing policy which ensures adherence to all existing ESG commitments. The role is responsible for horizon scanning for upcoming legislation & supply risks in the ESG space, while building know-how throughout the global supply chain organization.

The Global Supply Chain Responsible Sourcing Lead will drive impact across the business by supporting the organization to become leaders in building a sustainable supply chain and partnering with global category management teams to build continuous improvements in sustainability objectives through category strategies. 

Salary Range: $­­122,100 to $143,600 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Responsibilities: 

Develop and implement enterprise-wide sourcing strategy which supports the delivery of our sustainability & broader ESG initiatives   Ensure sourcing policies are continually updated to reflect all regulations, commitments & ambitions of Yum! and widely communicated and measured to maintain adherence  Partner with KFC Global & Yum! sustainability leads to represent Supply Chain in in broader ESG strategy development & goals setting  SME in identifying, quantifying and mitigating ESG-related risk in the supply chain – including human rights, nature/biodiversity/deforestation  Establish process and policies to build social and environmentally responsible practices into current procurement operations and commercial arrangements  Work cross functionally & with our regional Supply Chain leadership teams to create a multi-year implementation roadmap for Supply Chain to achieve our commitments & defined SC sustainability strategy, and drive progress against this roadmap  Define metrics to measure progress against key ESG goals, work with broader supply chain organisation on data and reporting methods, provide regular updates on performance to the Yum teams  Work with external supply partners and industry peers to understand initiatives / innovations which can support & accelerate ESG delivery and identify forums / opportunities for these to be shared  

Minimum Requirements:

10+ years’ experience in supply chain management or related field in the food / beverage industry Extensive knowledge of end-to-end Supply Chain management, including procurement, planning and logistics  Strong understanding of sustainability principles and best practices, with experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies & goals  Excellent communication & collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively and influence key stakeholders across the business
