Your Role: Thyroids manages the production and supplies of finished products and if applicable of drug substances & semi-finished products belonging to his/her supply chain from site till customer market (end to end), in particular:
Is responsible for the appropriate product sourcing according to the strategic business rules, to meet the demand plan and to communicate the delivery schedules to key markets.

 

Manages the appropriate level of stock for finished products, (intermediates and drug substances if applicable) at selling and manufacturing CMG's by proposing and managing an executable plan.Is responsible for short and mid-term production plan for drug substance and ensures full availability at the manufacturing sites, if applicable.Arbitrates between commercial and manufacturing functions in situations of conflicting interests and take the appropriate decisions and actions.Ensure appropriate communication pro-actively and forward-looking on risks and issues to team lead & GPS Lead as well as other stakeholders incl. management as neededActs as well as backup of other supply planner, when required, both for Mexico site and/or for external manufacturing partners (CMOs).Identify and highlight potential constraints early on to mitigate business impact by developing & implementing solutions.To drive and monitor production planning activities associated with his/her products distributed worldwide.To balance the Master Production for packaging and intermediate between the different manufacturing sites, and to create a good working relationship with the key site stakeholders.To drive and monitor distribution planning activities associated with his/her products distributed worldwide.To ensure quality and in time availability of production and distribution plansTo align demand vs. supply whilst monitoring and providing visibility on supply constraints and supply recover.To organize and to lead regular S&OP meetings with internal sites as needed to ensure full alignment on supply related topics and especially mid-term capacity vs. demand picture.To propose and agree on safety stock policies for already launched finished products (and bulk / semi-finished products, if applicable) to manage the group inventory and to support decision process.Collaborate with the NPI function to ensure smooth and efficient launches without stock outs. Align on stock building strategy prior to launch. To address issues in case of conflicting planning outcomes and to propose alternative scenarios.Work actively with the site and countries to regularly optimize MOQs, safety stocks and remaining shelf life of inventory to improve service and reduce cost.To carefully control the level of inventory adjustment and write off and to find solutions to avoid it.To review capacity at the manufacturing site and to ensure sufficient Capacity over Demand.To prepare and participate to capacity management meetings (e.g., S&OP meetings) with manufacturing sites, if required.To perform manufacturing demand analysis and highlights on routine, for monthly S&OP meetings and quarterly F reviews.To take full responsibility for hot issues resolution and problem solving.To eventually set up and coordinate ad-hoc action teams for the resolution of hot issues.Develop, improve, and roll out better systems and processes with COEReviewing of output of the plan regarding the frozen period and communicating critical results.To maintain the ERP database up to date, for product & customer Master data (SAP, JDA…).To perform main planning activities on behalf of a team colleague (Supply, Demand, Order Management, Purchasing) even cross-franchise.To support the order management process, from Order creation to Delivery to Customer, ensuring right flow of information at each stage.Support reception, verification, processing, and confirmation of orders, including inventory reservations, batch allocation and follow-up of orders receive, in relationship with actual sales forecast.

 
Your Profile:

 

Formal education:  Ideally University degree or equivalent in Supply Chain management. APICS certification desired.Experience on: Minimum of 2 years proven experience in Supply Chain or similar function, Soft Skills: High motivation, quick learner, autonomous. purposeful, collaborative, results driven, innovative. Open minded to other opinions and mentalities, flexibility to changes. Able to balance priorities and work under pressure.Language skills: Good communication skills. Fluent in English. Software: Ability to work with Supply Chain systems and tools (BY and SAP knowledge).
