Jhpiego is actively seeking a dynamic Global Talent Acquisition Partner (Temporary) to offer surge recruitment support for upcoming program development initiatives. The Global Talent Acquisition Partner will play a strategic role in attracting and recruiting top talent for new business and proposal development. This entails sourcing and attracting candidates, conducting consistent screening and selection processes, and ensuring efficient and high-quality hiring practices. Please note that this is a temporary position. 

Responsibilities

Sourcing

Markets open positions via the company’s careers page and job boards such as LinkedIn, Devex, etc.Develops sourcing techniques and targeted job advertising to proactively identify, engage, and secure both active and passive talent. Leverages a diverse array of sourcing channels to identify the best-fit candidates for current and future bids and proposals. Sources passive candidates using a variety of search methods such as LinkedIn, Devex, etc to build a robust candidate pipeline

Recruitment

Manages recruitment activities for a load of approximately 10 -15 proposal recruitment effortsScreens candidates through resume and job applications reviews, conducts phone screenings, and presents hiring managers with recommendations for the most suitable candidates for Key Personnel candidatesCollaborates closely with the Compensation team to develop competitive salary offers for Key Personnel and extends contingent offers upon prior approvalProvides timely progress updates on pipelining, interview, and placement activity to hiring managersCollaborates with the New Program Development department to build a pool of key personnel candidates for capture and live efforts.Establishes recruitment networks with regional institutions in Africa, Asia and LAC regionsDevelops recruitment matrices and tracks recruitment activity, analysis and metricsMaintains compliance with policies and procedures and federal and state regulations with regard to all recruitment practicesBackstops other recruitment activities and special projects as needed Required Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or another related field.8+ years’ full-life cycle international recruiting experienceRecruiting experience in international development or public health arena preferredProposal recruitment experience for USG donor (i.e. USAID, CDC, DOD) or other international donor agenciesWorking knowledge of sourcing international candidates for overseas field missions: expat, TCN, and local national staffExperience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationshipsExperience developing positive working relationships with hiring managersAbility to execute recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management.Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision.Tenacious with a solutions approachStrong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as a team leader and memberAbility to work in a complex environment with multipletasks, short deadlines and intense pressure to performKnowledge of employment laws, EEO regulations, standard HR practices and proceduresStrong oral and written communication skills; able to interact effectively, and in a professional, tactful manner with candidates, employees and senior managementProficient in using applicant tracking softwareMetrics-oriented, analytical thinker who is able to analyze, interpret, present and act upon dataHR certification (HCRI or SHRM) or equivalent HR qualification preferredAppreciation of socio-cultural differences in countries, preferably having lived and worked in a low resource settingProficient in Office 365

The salary range for this casual role is expected to be hourly: $40.00 - $50.00.

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level. Please refer to the job description above to see which forms of equivalency are permitted for this position. If permitted, equivalencies will follow these guidelines:
JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for required education on the same basis. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job.
