What You’ll do

Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740. Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with federal, state, and international tax regulations. Analyze and document uncertain tax positions and deferred tax assets/liabilities. Collaborate with external auditors during tax provision reviews and audits. Monitor changes in tax laws and accounting standards, assessing their impact on the company’s tax provision. Develop and implement best practices for tax provision processes and controls. Provide guidance and training to junior tax staff. Support tax planning initiatives and assist in the preparation of tax forecasts. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management. Oversee the implementation of tax technology solutions (OTP) to streamline provision processes. Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide recommendations to senior leadership. Partner with internal departments, such as accounting and legal, to ensure alignment on tax-related matters. Manage tax reporting packages, provide strategic guidance to regional and local team on U.S. GAAP vs statutory reporting requirements. Coordinate global tax provision processes, ensuring compliance and consistency across multiple jurisdictions. Monitor and analyze global tax developments, assessing their impact on the company’s operations and financial statements.

 Your Credentials:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred). Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in tax provision and compliance, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment. Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and other relevant tax regulations. Proficiency in tax software and financial reporting tools. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with tax technology tools and systems is a plus. Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members. Experience in managing global tax provision processes and addressing international tax issues. Knowledge of transfer pricing and cross-border tax regulations is highly desirable.

The salary range for this position is $104,929 to $131,155 with bonus potential.
