Who we are looking for

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead & System Admin to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft environments, including server and desktop operating systems, Active Directory, and Office 365. Strong knowledge of backup and storage solutions, as well as a solid foundation in cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS) is essential. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of technical specialists, providing guidance and support on complex technical issues.  System Administration: Manage and maintain our Microsoft infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and network devices.  Backup and Recovery: Design, implement, and manage robust backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and business continuity.  Storage Solutions: Oversee storage systems, including SAN and NAS, to optimize performance and capacity.  Cloud Technologies: Evaluate and implement cloud-based solutions to enhance our IT infrastructure and improve operational efficiency.  Security: Implement and maintain security best practices to protect our IT environment from threats.  Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.  Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.  Project Management: Manage IT projects, from planning and execution to deployment and post-implementation support. 

 

What you'll need 

5+ years of experience in systems administration and technical leadership roles.  Strong proficiency in Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365).  In-depth knowledge of backup and recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault).  Experience with storage technologies (SAN, NAS).  Understanding of cloud computing concepts and platforms (Azure, AWS).  Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.     IT certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE) are a plus.
