Your leadership will guide them to meet annual service targets, align with company goals, and ensure an outstanding customer experience. **In this role, a typical day will look like:** **Lead & Inspire:** + Supervise and mentor a global team of technical support associates. + Engage with sales, marketing, and the full commercial team to design and deliver service growth initiatives that align with the company strategy. + Set clear goals aligned with the company’s annual service targets. + Inspire and develop the team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. **Support Our Customers:** + Offer strategic and commercial input in the Service product development process for future technical support and training offerings. + Build a global tech support team that enables us to launch new offerings tailored to solving our customer’s most critical problems. + Enable your team to diagnose issues effectively, offer value-driven solutions, and maximize customer satisfaction. + Continuously identify and implement improvements in support processes and systems. **Knowledge Management:** + Maintain and expand the internal knowledge base, ensuring resources are accurate and accessible. + Standardize processes and document best practices to drive team efficiency. + Ensure the elimination of single points of failure with proactive cross-training. **Technical Expertise & Escalation:** + Act as a key escalation point for complex technical cases. + Manage escalations with a sense of urgency to identify the best path forward for the customer and the business; leverage PSP to reduce escalations over time. + Collaborate with R&D and Service teams to resolve challenging system issues. **Customer Engagement & Training:** + Oversee the design of technical training tailored to customer needs and work with marketing to launch new offerings where we see gaps in the market. **The essential requirements of the job include:** + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/technical field or equivalent experience + 5+ years of experience in technical support for instrumentation products. + Hydrology and or Meteorology industry preferred but not required. + Experience driving continuous improvement of a technical support team. + Fluent in written and spoken English. Germany fluency is a plus. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The compensation range for this role is $81,000 - $120,000 USD per year. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
