Global Technical Support Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization (division and market) and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.The work model for the role is: #Li - OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Motion Large Motors & Generators in Vadodara, India.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tOffers technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers/channels/Sales Specialists about ABB products/systems/applications for Regions – North America, Canada, LATAM and Middle East including India.•\tSupports the Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers •\tCollaborate with GTSS Team in the other regions to develop best practices / processes.•\tAssisting the sales organizations during encounters with customers, and providing technical assistance and clarification as needed.•\tIdentify and propose product and/or tool related trainings for the sales channel.•\tGenerate detailed technical documentation for the proposed solution and document any deviations from the requirements as needed.•\tProvide extra costs for design, accessories for the existing product portfolio as needed.

Qualifications for the role

\tA bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering\t3-5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, working as a Design engineer in the field of large induction motors\tSolid understanding of the ABB products and their applications.\tKnowledge of Motor design programs, Microsoft Office Products and Salesforce.\tAdvanced communication, influencing, coaching and management skills\tFluent English, good communication skills. \tCandidate should open to work in flexible hours to support other regions as per the time zones.
