What Global Trade International Logistics & Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
 
Global Trade is responsible for the design, implementation and execution of policies, programs and platforms to enable compliant and efficient international movement of products and technologies.
 
Global Trade International Logistics & Operations is responsible for managing Global Trade execution focused on compliance, delivery excellence and cost optimization. This job family implements and executes Global Trade policies and serves as primary interface to internal business operations, as well as forwarders, carriers, shippers and customs house brokers. 

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Export Operations Advisor to manage and optimize export activities from the United States to global markets. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of U.S. export processes and regulations, international trade logistics, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end export operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods.Coordinate with internal teams to ensure export transactions are free of errors.Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to resolve shipping and documentation issues.Ensure export operations follow U.S. export control laws, including EAR, ITAR, and other trade regulations.Prepare and review export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and bills of lading.Monitor and analyze international logistics service providers’ performance and patterns to recommend improvements.Develop and maintain relationships with global partners, vendors, and regulatory bodies.Provide export process advice and continuously facilitate communications with stakeholders to resolve trade data issues, including tariffs, sanctions, and free trade agreements.Process Improvement – Independently analyze & interpret the data/information, then challenge existing export processes and bring in new ideas to drive projects to (re)define the optimal processes.Create and maintain overviews and KPI’s to management team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.4+ years of experience in export operations, logistics, or trade compliance preferred.Certification in international trade (e.g., CUSECO, CES) is a plus.Proficiency in export documentation and logistics management software.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to details.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work throughout the organization.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Anticipated salary range: $66,500 - $94,900
