Global Trade Compliance Analyst

Job Summary

In this position, you will be part of the IFF Custom & Trade Compliance team, supporting all IFF entities globally. You will ensure the Global regulatory compliance of import and export activities with special attention to compliance regulations and risk areas.

With the support of IFF Public Affairs, you will need to understand the regulatory environment and how it evolves and develops globally and make the necessary adjustments to IFF procedures to ensure compliance. You will Initiate improvement projects in Global Export Compliance

What You will do:

Centralized control using SAP GTS and other control procedures for all IFF global Trade Restrictions related to governmental sanctions, various governmental and internal regulations, and control of IFF Trade Control Policy

Development and maintenance of monthly audit for all operational control modules related to sanctions and regulations.

Develop repository in place to track and record the results of end-use checks.

Centralize managed process for DEA controlled materials using GTS blocks to control goods.

Monthly audit of shipments within risk profile for anti-boycott.

Audit destination control process and produce metrics.

Create monitoring report related to movement of all goods within EUDR regulations. Audit supplier shipments to ensure adherence.

Manage IFF global sanctioned party list screening initiatives including data collection, data quality, handling match determination and escalation, continuous monitoring, and future automation planning.

Manage and monitor blocks related to customer during on boarding phase.

Who You are:

Bachelor’s degree in international Trade

At least 5-year experience in import and export operation in an international company

Capability to develop and apply statistical and computer skills.

Computer skills covering MS Office

The preferred candidate will have SAP-GTS, or similar system, functionality experience including export control, internal and external licensing control requirements

Fluent English in speaking and written

Your knowledge, skills & attributes:

Strong knowledge of local, international trade and import & export regulations.

Trainings & Certifications:

SAP/ SAP-GTS multiple trainings on functional areas of expertise

Recognized Customs training and/or certifications
