The Johnson Johnson Global Trade Controls (GTC) function, part of Johnson Johnson’s Technical Operations and Risk organization, is recruiting for Global Valuation Manager, in Switzerland, Belgium, United States, Czech Republic, Brazil or Ireland.

Reporting to the Director Global Import Controls, the Valuation Manager will coordinate the global customs valuation program, in partnership with the GTC Regional teams and cross-functional partners. The individual will use their knowledge of cross-border valuation rules to support Johnson Johnson's (JJ) businesses to implement existing and emerging global trade regulations. Moreover, the Manager will be required to align partners across a matrixed organization to analyze and resolve complex valuation issues, build capabilities, coordinate audit and remediation efforts and monitor and communicate changing regulations.

Key Responsibilities:Deploy valuation policies, processes and procedures that meet existing and changing regulationsEnsure timely implementation of valuation requirements, collaborating with main partners to support efficient implementation Lead 3rd party engagement, as neededSupport governance of global valuation program metrics and scorecards; ensure scorecard improvement reflects progression along a maturity curve Advise on design and implementation of global trade solutions across process, data and technologyCollaborate with teams of trade compliance professionals and JJ businesses to build trust, influence, empower self and others, practice diversity and inclusion, and make informed and timely decisionsPerform all other relevant activities relating to job accountabilities, as needed

Education:

Bachelor's degree required with a focus in Finance, Compliance, Economics, Legal, Customs, Trade, or equivalentRelevant Global Trade or Customs certification is desirableExperience and Skills:

6 years of Trade Customs experience, with 1 years of experience in a similar roleComprehensive business knowledge, strategy development and experience in a global compliance areaExperience developing and implementing compliance processesExperience implementing data and technology solutions to support effective compliance processesIn-depth knowledge of importing, exporting, and country specific trade regulationsPreferred:Prior experience working with regulatory agencies and industry peers and companiesPrior experience managing compliance solutions with technology tools such as SAP, SAP Global Trade Services, Trade Automation, Alteryx, PowerBI or similar systemsProject management experienceOther:Fluency in English is essentialThis position may required up to 25% of travel
