We are looking for a Global Transformation Manager for our Property line of business. This position will work a hybrid schedule based in our New York City office.

The Impact You Will Have  

Reporting to the Global Head of Property, this position leads the Global Property Transformation initiatives, including establishing effective end to end processes, aligning strategies among various business functions, including underwriting, CUO, Pricing actuaries, Cat Modeling, Allianz Risk Control, Tex, IT, operations and claims. This individual will spearhead the organizational strategies to drive Allianz towards a modern underwriting technology platform, processes, and operating model that improves the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Global Property group.  This role will support a culture of collaboration and continuous ongoing improvements.  This role will work across the Global Allianz landscape, leveraging their experience and expertise to drive positive transformational change.  Develop, implement and execute the Global LoB process strategies while proactively supporting the development of enhanced global Property underwriting tools and enhanced processes to ensure the successful achievements.  Act as a key Property interface among the various transformation Teams, with regards to overall concepts, vision and design of the Property underwriting road map.

 

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:  

Master Product: Establish Global Property framework that supports a collaborative culture that effectively unites business objectives across the organization.  Develop global End to End transformational process strategies via effective stakeholder relationships, business partners and alignment across various functions.  Define short and long-term priorities that most effectively supports delivery of the Property transformation strategies.                                                                                                                                                                  Master Process Strategies: Challenge Process implication and effectiveness Link and integrate Global End to End processes with other Go Forward initiatives aligned with global Property strategies Creating standard practices across to effectively scale operational services to better support UW/CUO.                                   Support workstreams utilizing ACM Compliant documentation/delivery methods Portfolio process steering and productivity measurers: Define, collect and develop practices to monitor End to End process effectiveness/performance of various property processes.     Build effective performance scorecards to effectively monitor/manage transformation processes and overall data quality.                                                         Drive project planning process and monitor adherence to plan, taking corrective actions as necessary Proactively liaise with functional areas to establish governess model, continuously monitor and report on compliance effectiveness Visioning: Work with local and Global Teams to define business requirements across various projects. Protectively support/manage project change management execution strategies   Coordinate End to End processes insuring adherence to all corporate Functional Rules, underwriting guidelines, including corporate governance rules, and local regulatory framework                                                                                                     Product Delivery: Proactively support/manage of the timely delivery and implementation of new processes. Ensure product readiness, with the appropriate Testing, Training and proper roll-out management. Assess implications on overall project roadmap, including Impact Analysis, project cost and other critical business process to support a successful project roll-out.

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role –  

A minimum 7 years’ significant experience in Transformation Project management. Expert understanding of Global/Regional/local Property LoB underwriting processes, Underwriting Tools, and practices. Expert understanding of legal and Global regulatory framework. Significant Global Property Project transformation experience in leadership and development of teams internationally and within complex global matrix environments. Preferably a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Project Management, Risk Management and Insurance or other appropriate technical disciplines. And completion of a professional insurance qualification. Ability to assess inherent risk associated with various processes and underwriting tools relevant to LoB. Analyze current underwriting tools and process performance against benchmarks associated with business needs. Robust understanding of policy administration life cycle, information collection, policy issuance, premium bookings, credit control, and various other Global regulatory requirements. Ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally.  Ability to "sell" an improvised or prepared audience winning story. Ability to persuade and motivate others to act, without executive authority. Ability to analyze highly complex processes, portfolio data, from multiple sources, in detail; identify and recommending before they transpire. Ability to lead a Global Property Project team. Includes the ability to delegate tasks, steer team direction/goals, etc.

 

The annualized base pay range for this role is $162,867 to $323,007. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role, the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
