WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll join Bain’s Global Treasury team, a part of our broader Global Finance function. This team oversees the firm’s cash, investments, and intercompany lending operations worldwide. In this role, you’ll collaborate with finance colleagues across regional offices, banking partners, and internal stakeholders to support Bain’s day-to-day cash operations and long-term financial health.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As a Treasury Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in managing global cash operations, foreign exchange (FX) trading, and short-term investments. You’ll provide direct treasury support to assigned office clusters and contribute to strategic projects that enhance liquidity management and financial controls.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Global Cash Management & FX Operations
Coordinate daily cash activities in the U.S., including reconciliations, transaction processing, cash positioning, and short-term investmentsMaintain strong control environment and clear segregation of duties in accordance with Treasury policyLeverage treasury platforms and third-party tools to improve transparency, efficiency, and risk managementResolve transaction issues promptly and professionallyAct as a Treasury point of contact for internal teams and external partnersConduct FX trading and hedging activities (spot and forward), including trade execution, confirmation, and position trackingCash Planning & Investments
Support administration of short-term investments within policy guidelinesMaintain accurate metrics and reports for Treasury and Accounting teamsTrack intercompany loan activity to support global liquidity managementLocal Office Coverage
Provide treasury support to designated office clusters, including banking, funding, insurance, and investment-related tasksProjects & Compliance
Assist with special Treasury projects and other tasks as assignedSupport FBAR compliance activities annuallyStay informed on emerging banking services and tools relevant to Bain’s treasury function
ABOUT YOU
BS in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience1–3 years’ experience in accounting, banking, financial analysis, or treasury (1+ year in Corporate Treasury preferred)Excellent attention to detail with both numbers and narrativeStrong organizational and prioritization skills to meet tight deadlinesProficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and banking/treasury platformsClear communicator with strong verbal and written skillsComfortable working across cultures in a global environmentCollaborative, resourceful, and self-motivatedKnowledge of banking procedures is a plus
U.S. COMPENSATION INFORMATION
Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service, and Bain’s best-in-class benefits package.
Some local governments in the United States require a good-faith, reasonable salary range be included in job postings for open roles. The estimated annualized compensation for this role is as follows:
In Massachusetts, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $66,000 - $79,000; placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, licensure/certifications, training, and skill level.
