Overview:

Bath & Body Works is seeking a Sourcing Analyst to support the Contract Manufacturing Strategy for the personal care and beauty categories across our brand. This position is located in Columbus, Ohio.

Overview:

Develop and complete sourcing strategies for multiple contract manufacturing categories. Provide strategic mentorship for vendor management. Evaluate supply chain capabilities. Spearhead key initiatives for innovation and cost optimization. This role involves leading critical aspects of the stage gate process, collaborating with vendors on business award reviews, and delivering actionable insights for key business meetings. The Sourcing Analyst will work closely with management to advance sourcing strategy initiatives and help drive Bath and Body Works objectives across categories. This position will contribute significant value to a team handling approximately $500M in annual spend.

Responsibilities:

Overall

Responsible for the development and execution of contract manufacturing category strategies ensuring cross functional alignment across the enterprise Identify gaps in vendor capabilities and opportunities for innovation, tracking trends in retail to support category objectives and business growth Lead category data by organizing, analyzing, and maintaining sourcing metrics to support decision-making Lead the preparation of materials for strategic meetings, business reviews, vendor assessments, while actively contributing insights that drive actionable outcomes Engage closely with management and leadership to drive critical initiatives and sourcing goals Category Management Take ownership in developing & implementing category & subcategory strategies that align supply base capabilities with business requirements, by gathering data, conducting cost analysis, and providing insights ensuring information is readily accessible Lead the identification of gaps and trends by conducting initial research on new supply chain forms and potential suppliers providing foundational insights to guide strategy development Assist in the management of supplier relationships by gathering feedback and identifying areas for improvement within category management strategies Facilitate the stage gate process by preparing documents, coordinating reviews, ensuring successful business awards Prepare reports to track category cost drivers, forecast business impacts, and support sourcing decisions Sourcing Execution and Vendor Management Handle the onboarding process for new vendors ensuring completion of initial setup steps and gathering necessary documentation Play a key role in the execution of sourcing initiatives, collaborating with management in developing and implementing strategies to improve vendor performance across categories and subcategories Key Projects Optimize on-going vendor strategy tools, documentation, and presentation materials Contribute to cost savings, increase, and avoidance strategies in support of value engineering initiatives Champion the identification of emerging trends and innovation within vendor base, exploring new capabilities that align with global sourcing strategy Support Sourcing Excellence initiatives

Qualifications

3-5 years’ work experience in Purchasing, Operations Planning, and/or Strategic Sourcing positions preferred Experience in manufacturing and/or consumer goods/retail preferred Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges System and computer proficiency – Microsoft Suite, SAP/PLM, Fiori Ability to work in a high-energy environment with demonstrated initiative and ability to achieve results Ability to build and foster strong trusted advisor relationships with internal and external partners Education: Bachelor's degree in Business / Engineering / Supply Chain Management / Logistics / Chemistry / Finance Core Competencies Lead with Curiosity & Humility Build High Performing Teams for Today & Tomorrow Influence & Inspire with Vision & Purpose Observe, Engage & Connect Strive to Achieve Operational Excellence Deliver Business Results Benefits
