Global Warranty Operations Analyst- Cost Control Specialist

In this position... 
Responsible for carrying out duties assigned as they relate to system configuration and testing of cost control initiatives supporting current and new SEO related publications (TSB’s, SSM’s, etc.) in addition to current cost controls in the OWS application.    The position requires a basic understanding of the full warranty suite of applications/publications and is expected to achieve customer service levels and business performance goals. Preparation of metrics to support and measure the results of the various controls put in place is a must.

Work effectively with the local and global teams (IT and business) both within and outside of Service Engineering Operations (SEO) Build expertise in related systems and processes such as Technical Service Bulletins (TSB’s), Special Service Messages (SSM’s), Pre-defined Repairs (PDR’s), Select for Reviews (SFR’s) etc. to ensure the system is well understood Build, test out, deploy and measure effectiveness on new cost controls in OWS Lead or assist with change request definition and testing as improvements and new functionality is rendered Identify new opportunities as you gain acumen in the Ford warranty space that can provide additional cost control measures Establish relationships with policy/legal teams, global and regional teams to ensure the impact of proposed edits is assessed and well understood  Create dealer training material for new functions such as PDR’s and assisting with training as well as managing related feedback Create desk procedures and support the Warranty Assistance Team (WAT), the policy team and the requestor with necessary documentation supporting the initiative Establish global collaboration process as necessary to drive out requirements Other tasks as requested by management
