Summary\:
The Senior General Manager / General Manager - Government Affairs & Projects is a critical leadership role responsible for developing and executing comprehensive government project strategies to advance the company's business objectives. This position will lead and manage all aspects of government relations, including policy advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and project management related to government interactions. The ideal candidate is a highly strategic and results-oriented professional with a deep understanding of the project landscape and a proven track record of success in navigating complex regulatory environments.
Key Responsibilities\:
Ø Build business pipeline with Government projects, Skill development and other Govt bodies.
Ø Build SE position in Govt topics for building sustainability on demand side with Energy efficiency.
Ø Help to fix the challenge on Quality Control Order (QCO) for both Schneider Electric and Lauritz Knudsen.
Ø Position Schneider Electric as thought leader in More Electric More Digital = More Sustainable story.
Ø Develop in-depth reports on critical policy issues impacting the industry or company. These papers should offer data-driven analysis, propose innovative solutions, and position the company as a thought leader in the field.
Ø Support India Management team to network and position Schneider Electric as committed to India Growth story.
Ø Validate the infra and other investments various ministries are planning in collaboration with Strategy team/ Consulting firms.
Ø Cultivate relationships with industry associations, trade groups, and other relevant stakeholders.
Ø Work with statutory authorities and government agencies in shaping the standards specifications of energy management and electrical and automation solutions for highest safety, reliability, and efficiency standards.
Ø Monitor and track relevant legislation, regulations, and policy developments.
Qualifications\:
15 years of experience in government affairs and projects, public policy, or related fields.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Experience in the energy management, sustainability, technology sectors is highly desirable or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Proven track record of success in developing and implementing government projects strategies.Deep understanding of the projects landscape and regulatory environment.Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.Proven project management and leadership skills.Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
