The role of the GMC (General Motion Control) Sales Specialist is to facilitate incremental domestic sales for variable frequency drives, servo drives, DC drives, and servo / high performance motor products within a defined geography.

In this role you will partner with the Siemens Digital Industries Sales teams and appointed Distribution Channels to become their trusted technical sales partner for all drives and motion related opportunities.

We are looking for a GMC Sales Specialist. This role is remote and can be located anywhere within Texas or Louisiana as its geographical sales territory.

You’ll make an impact by:

This is a technical business development role for the Siemens Motion Control GMC business. Products covered include variable frequency drives, servo drives, DC drives and high performance motors. Grow Siemens GMC business volume in the assigned geography. Partner with Siemens Sales and appointed distribution channel to promote Siemens GMC products. Evaluate customer needs and present technical applications to achieve customer adoption of Siemens GMC products, solutions, and systems Provide demonstrations of Siemens GMC products and solutions Assistance with sizing and product selection Assist with conversion strategies and investments Assist with Channel Partner training Participate in account planning activities with Siemens Sales and channel partners to ensure the best technical solution strategies for growth are established and implemented through value proposition development.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Candidate preferred to have 5+ years of previous experience selling technical products and solutions. 8+ years of prior sales environment professional experience required. 5+ years of prior product sales experience is required. Strong technical knowledge of variable frequency drives and motion control equipment Candidate must be highly driven and self-motivated Requires strong capabilities in the areas of business results orientation; customer orientation and collaboration & influencing. Applies professional communication, presentation, networking and lobbying skills at all levels up to executive level Consistent track record of developing new business opportunities in a teaming environment. PLEASE NOTE: Individual must possess a valid Driver’s license in good standing

Preferred Qualifications:

BS/BA in related field, or advanced degree. Certification in some areas

The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
