GME Contract Administrator (Remote)
Within CHS’ corporate office is the centralized ACGME-accredited Sponsoring Institution, Health Education Services (HES, ACGME ID: 470075). HES sponsors 19 ACGME-accredited graduate medical education programs within 11 of the 69 acute-care hospitals and their affiliated ambulatory networks. These numbers are anticipated to increase to 29 programs within 14 hospital locations by 2027. The position of GME Contract Administrator will reside within HES and report to the Corporate Director for GME Finance and Contracting. This position will initiate and/or assist in the execution of all GME related contract aspects at new and eventually, existing, CHS GME teaching locations. This includes administering contracts for both employed and independent contractor physicians as well as resident physicians and fellows. The position will collaborate with existing CHS resources at both the corporate and location level to assure the correct application of GME contracting language for all GME faculty and residents/fellows. The position will keep track of all associated program faculty contracting status including due dates, incentives, amendments and updates. The position will oversee the required annual updates of all resident and fellow contracts. The position will be connected to the CHS contracting process and be expected to implement established, best contracting practices across all CHS GME programs. This position is based as the CHS corporate headquarters located in Franklin, Tennessee. Remote work is negotiable, but may require occasional travel to corporate headquarters. Occasional travel to CHS-owned and operated Primary Clinical Sites may be required periodically as well. **Duties and Responsibilities** + In collaboration with HES and program leadership, initiate and/or support the development of applicable GME contracts for specific roles and take the lead/assist locations with initializing GME aspects of faculty contracting. Applies to both independent contractor and employed physicians and resident/fellows. Work with existing CHS resources as appropriate. + Track and manage/assist in overseeing all GME related faculty contracts and residents/fellows for all GME programs. This will include developing a detailed log of all active faculty and resident/fellow contracts, monitoring important dates, executing appropriate amendments, circulating status updates to vested leadership and elevating issues or concerns to the appropriate HES and program leadership. + Participate in the development and implementation of any contract compensation and incentive structures, as well as ensuring the effective execution of such terms in accurate, timely manner. This includes associated benefits. Work with supporting resources as appropriate. + Participate in and ensure all GME related contracts (faculty and residents/fellows) follow the prescribed processes and best practices in place to reduce risks and exposure for CHS. This includes contract management, maintenance, execution and updating. + Develop a high level of understanding of the GME related contract details and serve as a resource and educator for vested parties at program and potential program locations, including types of contract recommendations, specific GME roles and the determination of the value and processing for any clinical teaching payments as well as the overall contracting process. + Work with appropriate HES and location personnel to ensure correct accounting for and tracking of GME specific contract costs. + Other related duties as assigned. **Qualifications** + H.S.
