SummaryCoordinates the day to day administration of the academic operational and financial activities of one or more Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education ACGME residency andor fellowship training programs in collaboration with the Program Directors PDsAssociate Program Directors APDs the Hartford Hospital Medical Education Office attending faculty residentsfellows and if applicable the University of CT UConn GME office All activities are performed in accordance with ACGME guidelines Hartford Hospital GME policies and if applicable the University of Connecticut Serves as Program Coordinator for the Hartford Hospital program and site coordinator if applicable for UConn ResidencyFellowship Programs UConn medical student rotations and visiting resident rotations and Department of Surgery Advanced Education CoursesJob Responsibilitiesmiddot Collaborates with PDsAPDs and if applicable UConn Affiliates to assure compliance with all program requirements and provides educational coordination between Department ChiefsDirectors attending physicians Hartford Hospital Medical Education Office and UConn GME Office if applicablemiddot Provides administrative support to PDsAPDsmiddot Coordinates required paperwork for specific program affiliations institutions and on boards new residentsfellows in collaboration with the Hartford Hospital Medical Education Office and if applicable the UConn GME office which will include scheduling EPIC trainingmiddot Provides administrative oversight for a residency or fellowships program to include but not limited to drafting rotation and education schedules preparing reports handling inquiries maintaining current program manuals maintaining program files scheduling meetings and assisting in requests for verification of trainingmiddot Maintainsworks with applicable program databasessystems ie ERAS Database New Innovations GME Track Web ADS HealthStream if applicable AMION blackboard Myevaluationsmiddot Actively involved in recruitment of new residentsfellows including initial screening of applications to ensure qualification scheduling interviews and relatedmiddot Actively involved in annual program orientation and graduationmiddot Serves as Hartford Hospital Coordinator for a Residency or Fellowship Programs and medical student rotations and provides administrative support to Hartford Hospital Director and if applicable site directors coordinates visiting residents to the Departmentmiddot Coordinates Surgical Education Courses ie ATOM Coursemiddot Complete other responsibilities as
