General Summary:

GN Graduate Nurse - Neurology, Full Time Nights 7pm-7:30am, Rotating Weekends and Holidays

Henry Ford Providence Novi Hospital Sign On Bonus: Up to $20,000

Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Responsibilities: Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.| Coordinates with all disciplines for well coordinated patient care under the oversight of the primary RN.| Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.| Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Licensure / Certification / Registration: 

BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. American Red Cross (ARC) CPR for Professional Rescuers card will be accepted upon hire but renewal must be a BLS Provider card from AHA. 

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - Licensure / Certification / Registration: - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. - Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Education: - Enrolled in or completion of Nursing program required. - Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required within 6 months of hire.
