Cvent’s Hospitality Cloud division is seeking a GTM (go-to-market) director to help create our GTM framework and playbook. The go-to-market playbook will outline a plan for getting a product to market in the most effective way possible. You will be responsible for partnering closely with product marketing, product management, sales leadership, sales operations, sales enablement, and readiness to define Cvent’s GTM process. This will include identifying buyer personas, sales strategy, pricing, sales enablement resources, and success criteria. Success criteria include establishing metrics and KPI’s related to GTM process. You will oversee every aspect of the process from start to finish and be the “go to” person for everyday logistics related to our go-to-marketing strategy. In This Role, You Will: Oversee the entire go to market process for Hospitality Cloud Coordinate with sales, marketing, client services, customer success and product teams to create Cvent’s go to market playbook Build and communicate GTM project plans to ensure cross functional collaboration Partner with readiness and sales operations leadership to understand and identify synergies as you define Cvent’s GTM process Coordinate with Executive Leadership and Product Management / User Experience Teams during Product Research and Ideation phases to ensure early alignment on subsequent build phases Create strategic plans to achieve long term results while balancing the demands of multiple stakeholders Facilitate meetings, ensuring clear and transparent communication with cross-functional and leadership teams throughout the project lifecycle. Here's What You Need: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field; MBA preferred. Proven experience (10 years) in sales or marketing, with knowledge building and optimizing go to market strategy, preferably in the software industry. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. Exceptional leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate others to achieve targets and exceed expectations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and senior executives. Ability to handle conflict and challenging situations with diplomacy and professionalism. Demonstrate business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Experience in resolving project related issues, adapting to changes, and implementing effective problem-solving strategies to ensure project success. Hands-on approach and willingness to roll up sleeves and work alongside the team when necessary. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams Strategic thinking and analytical skills to identify and mitigate project risks, as well as the ability to make informed decisions quickly and efficiently. Proven experience in creating scalable processes and systems to support business growth. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
