Go-To-Market Lead Channel Transformation
Role Purpose

We are a dynamic team that thrives in a fast-paced environment and are seeking a talented Go-to-Market Manager to lead the transformation of Vodafone Group Business’ Indirect Channel. This role will focus on designing and implementing strategies to optimize the performance, alignment, and scalability of the Indirect Channel across multiple Vodafone Operating Companies (OpCos) across the globe. The successful candidate will guide and collaborate with OpCos, ensuring the adoption of best practices, strategic alignment, and measurable results.


Key Responsibilities
• Group Channel Strategy Development and Implementation
    o Define and execute a Group-level go-to-market strategy to transform Vodafone Business’ Indirect Channel.
    o Develop scalable frameworks and toolkits for OpCos to tailor and implement in their local markets.
    o Ensure alignment with Vodafone Group’s broader business objectives and market priorities.
• OpCo Engagement and Guidance
    o Act as a trusted advisor to OpCos, providing strategic direction, frameworks, and best practices to enhance channel performance.
    o Facilitate knowledge sharing, collaboration, and consistency across OpCos while respecting local market nuances.
    o Support OpCos in building and implementing local strategies and initiatives.
• Partner Enablement and Alignment
    o Work closely with Channel Activation GTM colleagues to Design Group-level partner enablement programs, tools, and resources that OpCos can localize.
    o Strengthen relationships with key partners across markets, ensuring their alignment with Vodafone’s strategic goals.
    o Enhance the partner experience by addressing shared challenges and driving mutual value.
    o Work with internal Product / Technology colleagues to drive partner relationship management platform deployment & adoption
• Performance Management and Operational Excellence
    o Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms to monitor and evaluate Indirect Channel performance across Group and OpCos.
    o Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies, process optimization, and innovation.
    o Drive performance reviews and transformation updates with senior stakeholders.
• Market Insights and Innovation
    o Stay ahead of market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity within the Channel ecosystem.
    o Leverage insights to shape the Group strategy and support OpCos in adapting to local market dynamics.
    o Champion innovation in channel approaches, driving a culture of agility and growth.
• Leadership and Stakeholder Management
    o Influence and align diverse internal and external stakeholders across Vodafone Group and OpCos.
    o Communicate transformation plans, progress, and results to senior leaders within Vodafone Group and OpCos.
    o Act as a change agent, fostering a collaborative and future-focused mindset across the business.

Who you are

 

• Proven experience in go-to-market strategy, indirect channel transformation, or a similar role in a multinational environment.
• Deep understanding of indirect channel ecosystems, partner networks, and B2B go-to-market models.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills, with experience working across markets and cultures.
• Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in guiding teams or markets through change and transformation, delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Strong Commercial understanding/acumen of business KPI’s
• Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity while driving clear and actionable solutions.
• Knowledge of the telecommunications or technology sectors is highly desirable.
• Relationship building skills within a complex matrix structure with good communication skills for dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, ambitious and innovation hungry.

 

You will be ambitious and innovation hungry with a customer first and people-oriented mindset. You will have a good balance of sales, channel, commercial, portfolio and marketing acumen, utilising this experience to create and deliver best in class channel strategies.

• Yearly bonus: 10%
• Annual leave: 28 days + bank holidays + the opportunity to buy/sell/carry over 5 days/year

• Maternity leave: 52 weeks, the first 13 weeks are fully paid, followed by 26 weeks of half pay
