Our Macraes Process Plant are currently on the search for a Gold Room Supervisor. This position involves performing and supervising gold room tasks to pour bullion and liaison with appropriate personnel to ensure quality bullion is available for scheduled uplifts. Additionally, you will be assisting in managing services such as tails discharge, return water, raw water supply, and potable water.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
Conduct/Co-Ordinate all gold pours and shipments according to schedule, ensuring optimum bullion quality is produced to the scheduled timing.Train and supervise other personnel within the gold room and services areas as and when required.Maintain and update training manuals and procedures associated to the gold room and services.Co-ordinate and manage any maintenance or plant improvements of the Gold Room, and service areas and equipment including the rebuilding of furnaces, electrowinning circuits and exhausting system.Assists in daily monitoring and servicing of tailing dams, river flows, and seepage water to help maintain site water balanceWorks closely with the Process Superintendent on a supporting basis, providing guidance and one on one training to operators on the plant in areas required in conjunction with Shift Supervisor.Comply with all safety requirements and observes all company policies and procedures.Manage direct reports, provide leadership and coaching, share knowledge and assign tasks as required. QualificationsFull and Current Driver Licence, ability to drive manual vehicles is preferred.
