Within AWM, the Credit Facility Management (“CFM”) team is dedicated to managing the platform’s credit facilities, which are a critical component of the performance we deliver to our investors.  The CFM team is responsible for maintaining compliance with concentration limits, borrowing base covenants and reporting obligations, as well as ensuring successful relationships with lenders and agents. The CFM team works closely with several adjacent groups in AWM, including (i) Finance & DCM (source, negotiate and execute fund financing), (ii) Fund Management Groups (manage the funds’ liquidity and lifecycle) and (iii) Portfolio Management teams (source, execute and monitor underlying investments).

Associates on the CFM team will support more senior team members in maintaining a series of credit facilities across strategies and managing lender/agent relationships, as well as a variety of recurring tasks.  The successful applicant will demonstrate a consistent track record of achievement, be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and be able to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Specific Responsibilities May Include: Managing a series of credit facilities including underlying covenants, concentration limits, borrowing base and reporting complianceTracking/collating and analyzing underlying asset dataFacilitating utilization requests and servicing eventsManaging lender and agent relationshipsAssisting with facility negotiation and pre-execution approvalsTracking, reporting and analyzing detailed performance metricsCreating management presentations/responding to ad hoc requests and preparing analyses for sameSupporting/furthering technology initiatives related to the above responsibilitiesAdditional responsibilities will be based on the needs of the business and the candidate’s specific skills

 

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or other business discipline3+ years Asset management / fund financing / credit facility experience preferredStrong analytical skills and detail orientationStrong interpersonal and communication skills, oral as well as writtenStrong coordination and organizational skillsAbility to multi-task and meet tight deadlinesAbility to work independently in a small team, exhibit initiative and be proactiveAbility to organize and analyze large volumes of informationInterest in working on technology initiativesTeam player, willing to help in areas not explicitly related to job dutiesComfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills
