Position Description: 

The successful candidate will perform building and infrastructure maintenance across site. Including electric al maintenance/installation, instrumentation and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). This role will be required to operate a boom truck, man lifts, forklift and backhoes, etc. in order to complete work independently. The ideal candidate will possess a background in electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and mining.

 

Responsibilities:

Perform electrical maintenance on buildings and infrastructure across site.Troubleshoot, make recommendations and repair various electrical issues including fixed and mobile equipment.Train coworkers on minor electrical work as needed. Maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and installs electrical equipment and systems. Utilizing technical, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills. Work independently on projects throughout the entire facility abiding by all safety protocols running conduit, pulling wire, connecting devices, etc. while utilizing proper lifts and ladders. Perform equipment PMs, repairs and similar duties that require little to no oversight or direction.Use complex electrical schematics and blueprints to troubleshoot and correct problems.Displays NGM DNA, positive attitude while practicing good work ethics that reflects the mission, philosophy, and goals of the Company.Performs other general maintenance duties as needed.Provides excellent customer service to the End User.Complete tasks in a timely manner and provide feedback and/or areas to improve.Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

NFPA 70E knowledge requiredExperience with commercial and industrial standards preferredWelding and fabrication skills preferredExperience with instrumentation and PLC's preferredExperience operating equipment including the following: boom truck, manlift, forklift, backhoe, and other equipment as needed preferredAbility to walk on uneven ground in all weather conditions requiredArc Flash training preferredAbility to support work group in attainment of safety, environmental, equipment protection and production goals with a proven safety record requiredDemonstrated ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations requiredDemonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, follow instructions, and provide feedback is requiredAbility to work in outdoor and potentially challenging environmental conditionsPhysical stamina to perform fieldwork and navigate uneven terrain
