As a member of our hospitality team, the primary responsibility of a Cart Mechanic is to transport, maintain, and clean golf carts to ensure a timely supply of golf carts is operational before play. This role is responsible for organizing, cleaning, and removing debris from the carts, ensuring they are in pristine condition for guests' use, and transporting carts from a storage facility as needed, following the proper daily cart rotation. A crucial part of this role will inspect, cleaning, washing, and charge the carts while checking for any repairs needed and maintaining the appearance of the cart storage and washing areas. This role may also assist Guest Services when there is high demand and respond to guests in a courteous and friendly manner, providing excellent customer service.

Extensive experience and familiarity with gas/diesel engines, ensuring efficient and reliable operation of equipment on the golf course. Strong ability to comprehend and execute both oral and written instructions accurately, minimizing errors and ensuring tasks are completed to the highest standard. Proficient in performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and major overhauls on various types of equipment utilized on the golf course, contributing to the smooth functioning of operations. Highly skilled in making specialized adjustments on reel mowers, guaranteeing the utmost quality of cut on greens, tees, and fairways, thus enhancing the playing experience for golfers. Competent in basic computer operations, maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date service records for smooth workflow and accurate tracking of equipment maintenance.
