You will contribute to the profitability & operation of all the golf outlets across the Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa and support the Golf Core team. In supporting with our different departments, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain vast experience in different disciplines. This fixed term positions will provide you with strong relevant experience and skills to take forward into your future career, with opportunities to return to the Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa. Some of the areas you will support with and gain experience in are: **Guest Experience** - Exceed Guest and Members expectations through excellent and engaging service. - Follow up feedback through various means & processes including hard copy and digital. **Pro Shops** - Provide excellent service to our customers and support with their needs and enquiries. - Maintain the different shops with high quality displays - Stock control - Assisting with the creation of creative ideas to increase sales **Golf Ops** - Buggy Store management and maintenance. - Overseeing of daily buggy operation. - 1 st Tee Starter - Welcome golfers to the Dukes course, offering advice on tee boxes and giving an overview of the property & course layout. - Offering advice on pace of play, course conditions and amenities such as the Half Way House, changing facilities, restaurant and driving range. - Ensure standard of arrival are of the highest standards. - Responsible for Ensuring tee sheet is organised and prepayments are taken. **Driving Range** - Providing and clearing range balls whilst maintaining the set-up to a high standard including clearing baskets and tee areas. Previous experience isn’t required as training will be provided however, to be successful in this role you will have; - Excellent customer service skills. - A desire to learn about Golf Operations / Management and assist in all areas of the Golf Core team across the resort. - The ability and means to travel to the Dukes Golf Course. - Previous hospitality / golf operations experience would be **desirable** but not **essential** . **Remuneration** Up to £12.36 per hour **Hours** Up to full-time Fixed Term Contracts are available.
