PROFESSIONAL GOLF INTRUCTOR 

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for a Professional Golf Instructor 

 who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our Professional Golf Instructor has the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.  

Programming – Responsible for the development, organization and implementation of all instructional programming offered at Hualalai golf Hale. Develop customized programming for Members, Resort guests and group users to include both instructional components and social offerings. Proficient knowledge of all teaching technologies, simulation technologies and range technologies implemented. Responsible for proper management and maintenance of all technologies and teaching aids. Oversees custom club fitting programming. 

Marketing – Work directly with Hualalai Director of Marketing to develop brand marketing and positioning. Development of collateral materials, website, Member and guest outreach, club-to-club initiatives, tournament presence opportunities and media channel outreach. 

Internal Training – Develop a teaching philosophy that remains consistent throughout the Resort and train all applicable golf associates. 

Ambassador Program – Develop a program to invite high profile instructors to provide mini clinics for Members and hotel guests. Work with Director of Marketing to leverage relationships and create a unique experience available only at Hualalai. 

Key Vendor Relationships – Manage all relationships with key vendors including contracts and maintenance agreements. 

Merchandising – Work directly with Director of Golf for appropriate offerings and management of limited merchandise offered at Hualalai Golf Academy. 

Assists with responsibilities and duties wherever needed and deemed necessary by your supervisor. 

Oversee all fiscal responsibilities and performance for the Hualalai Golf Hale operation including planning, budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, and payroll. 

Work closely with Hualalai Golf Hale employees, all Club employees as well as Hotel employees, to ensure proper handling of Member/guest requests and experiences. 

Must be familiar with all services provided on property.

WHAT TO BRING 

Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States 

High School Diploma 

PGA Class A member in good standing 

Minimum 5 years' experience in the golf industry 

Strong Customer Service skills. 

Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. 

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
