Are you passionate about golf and dedicated to providing exceptional service? We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Golf Superintendent to join our team and contribute to the success of our golf operations. You will oversee all activities related to the ongoing maintenance of the golf course, grounds and equipment. The Superintendent will lead the staff recruiting, hiring and training effort in the maintenance department.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Grounds in overseeing all aspects of the golf groundsEnsure the course is maintained to the highest standards of playability and appearanceSupervise and train grounds maintenance staff, providing guidance and supportCoordinate with the Golf Pro Shop to ensure a seamless guest experienceMonitor and control expenses within the golf grounds department budgetAssist in organizing and executing golf tournaments and eventsImplement and enforce safety protocols and proceduresMaintain effective communication with staff, guests, and managementQualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Sports Management or related field is a plus3+ years of experience in golf course operations, preferably in a supervisory roleStrong knowledge of golf course maintenance practices and equipmentExcellent leadership and team management skillsCustomer service-oriented with a friendly and approachable demeanorAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsFlexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings Benefits
