About the Role
As a Digital/Web/Data Analyst, you'll join our central IT team's Data Analytics division, a dynamic group dedicated to enhancing our web analytics capabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing website performance data, developing insights that inform business decisions, and recommending strategies to increase traffic and engagement. Working with a range of digital platforms-primarily Google Analytics-you will integrate data from multiple sources to create clear, actionable reports and visualizations. You will also collaborate closely with our Business Intelligence (BI) team to expand our analytics and BI offerings, providing insights and solutions that support our local companies. Occasional travel within Europe may be required.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management and Coordination
* Lead and coordinate digital analytics projects with internal teams and external partners.
* Develop and implement web analytics services that cater to diverse business needs.
* Partner with business units to ensure analytics solutions are tailored to their goals.
* Maintain thorough project documentation.
Data Analysis and Visualization
* Perform in-depth data analysis and quality checks across business units.
* Create structured dashboards, visualizations, and reports to present complex data effectively.
* Ensure data integrity and availability for efficient reporting and analysis.
Technical Configuration and Maintenance
* Set up and manage Google Tag Manager to ensure accurate tracking across platforms.
* Develop and configure custom events, tracking goals, and metrics in Google Analytics.
* Maintain compliance with data regulations and run A/B tests using tools like Microsoft Clarity.
Collaboration and Support
* Assist business units with analytics-related inquiries and projects.
* Deliver training sessions and workshops to enhance user knowledge of analytics tools.
* Provide recommendations on emerging technologies, services, and functionalities in web analytics.
Skills & Experience
We're looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
* Experience managing projects and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
* Knowledge of Business Intelligence fundamentals, including Data Warehousing, ETL, and UX/UI Design.
* Business acumen to translate complex requirements into actionable analytics solutions.
* Proficiency in project documentation.
Technical Skills
* Expertise in Google Tag Manager, Google Ads Data Hub, and Google Analytics.
* Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform tools like BigQuery and machine learning.
* Knowledge of server-side tracking (SST) on Google Cloud Platform.
* Experience with visualization tools like Looker Studio or Power BI.
* Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL, and ideally, Microsoft Azure/Fabric/365.
Personal Attributes
* Strong communication skills with fluency in English.
* Analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
* Willingness to travel internationally when needed.
