Google Cloud Infra Engineer
Our client, a Fortune 50 Financial Services Firm is seeking a Cloud Engineer, with specialty in GCP. Position: Cloud Engineer WORKSITE: Greenwich St. (NYC) Schedule: 3x on site, 2x WFH per week DURATION: 1 year contract, opt to extend Rate: Based on Experience The Public Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is a critical member of the team who designs, deploys, maintains, upgrades and secures network with all software components. The role requires a talented technologist with experience engaging with senior stakeholders as well as application developers throughout the full development life-cycle – from inception and design to deployment, operation, and iterative development. We are looking for a cloud engineer with the following as must have: 1. Strong google cloud experience, specific proof to have delivered something to production use. 2. Terraform, python and Go language proficient. 3. Good understanding of test-driven design. 4. Understand Linux/windows operating systems. 5. Can work within a team and show up consistently! **Additional Notes** + Public cloud infrastructure engineer position for public cloud services + GCP cloud engineering experience + Google cloud engineering, and google cloud storage experience + Programming Skills: Python or Go + Terraform experience is a must + 6-10+ years of experience + Current team size: 6 engineers + Interview process: 2 rounds. First round of interview is high level, 2nd round will be a deep technical interview. + Banking Industry experience is not required, looking for Enterprise Level experience.
