We are seeking an individual who is business-minded, analytical, intellectually curious, proactive and technically savvy with deep expertise in creating Power BI management dashboards to support IT decision making on financials, human capital planning (HCP), risk management, IT delivery metrics, IT Operations and governance of IT processes. This person would join our Global Engineering Business Office in our New York City or Edgewood, NY offices. The Global Engineering IT Business Office is responsible for providing metrics, governance and insight to the CTO supporting running the business of Global Engineering.
We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means youll be assigned to a Broadridge officeandgiven the flexibility to work remote.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Global Engineering Governance, Reporting and Analytics role for the CTO of Global Engineering IT Business Office, this individual is expected to:
+ Design, develop, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI to support business decision-making, leveraging existing frameworks for data modeling and visualization to ensure a consistent user experience.
+ Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights to support strategic planning and deliver key findings to leadership.
+ Develop and manage data models and datasets to ensure accuracy and performance. Work with SQL databases to extract, transform, and load data for comprehensive reporting.
+ Create and optimize DAX queries and calculations to enhance data models and reports.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their analytical needs and gather business requirements, with the ability to translate them into technical specifications and provide solutions.
+ Build and enhance executive level presentations and Board reporting to effectively showcase Engineering capabilities and financials to the Firms Executive Leadership Team, business partners, and associates.
+ Work with CTO, Leadership Team and Development Managers in developing their improvement programs to align with the strategic planning process.
+ Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose actionable solutions to optimize operations within the team and across the organization.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree related to business, statistics, or information technology is preferred, or equivalent education and work experience
+ 2 - 3 years' experience in Power BI development and business analytics, including report and dashboard creation, data modeling, and DAX, with strong analytical capabilities
+ Experience in IT Operations, IT management reporting, and KPI analysis within an Agile organization to manage IT value delivery
+ Ability to clearly articulate both business and technical issues both in writing and verbally to a diverse audience, including development teams, business stakeholders, and executives
+ Creative problem-solving skills to identify solutions, provide detailed recommendations, oversee execution, and track implementation results.
+ Possesses a continuous improvement and continuous learning mindset with the ability to drive transformation of processes, people and systems
+ Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through managing multiple tasks and project deliverables in a deadline driven environment
+ Flexibility to adapt priorities and approaches to address the most pressing problems using the most appropriate tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
+ Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation
+ Background in FinTech or Financial Services industries
+ Familiarity with software development processes and organizations
+ Experience using AI technologies and advanced analytics techniques
+ Experience with the Microsoft Power Suite, specifically PowerApps and Power Automate is a plus
Salary range $100,000.00- $110,000.00. Bonus Eligible.
