As a Governance Control Manager at JPMorgan Chase within the International Consumer Bank, you will be a part of a flat-structure organization. Your responsibilities are to deliver end-to-end cutting-edge solutions in the form of cloud-native microservices architecture applications leveraging the latest technologies and the best industry practices. You are expected to be involved in the design and architecture of the solutions while also focusing on the entire SDLC lifecycle stages.

Job responsibilities: Support specific reporting requirements for relevant Legal Entity Boards and LOB Control Committees and forums, this may involve taking appropriate minutes, action tracking and follow up. Support for specific governance related projects and initiatives (this may be LOB or regulatory required) Coordinating the development of appropriate metrics and reporting to ensure adequate visibility and transparency across ICB Active participant in relevant ICB governance forums and committees Manage data collation and timely reporting for relevant Board reports, and materials in accordance with strict deadlines. Review topics for governance focus, financial analysis for status and ensuring a month-on-month trending view is supplied. Reviewing internal material from functions and LOB areas to identify potential topics for inclusion at governance to drive improvements to risk management for the region. Partner with various functions and senior management Participate in deep dives on key themes and trends to bring topics to governance as needed. Develop and build a strong network of internal stakeholder relationships in support of delivering key ICB governance materials. Continuous review and development of governance processes to provide opportunities for improvements in efficiency. Provide secretariat support, including planning, organising and follow ups in line with regulator or Governance requests as and when required.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Experience in financial services industry with background in governance, controls, regulatory, risk, audit, quality assurance, finance or compliance preferred Proactive, self-starter able to consistently deliver work of a high standard whilst under pressure, comfortable working independently in a dynamic and challenging environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a commanding and convincing delivery and the ability to present information in differing degrees of detail and form depending on audience Strong skills in time management with the ability to manage complex work plans, conflicting priorities and the ability to multi-task when required. Strong relationship building and influencing skills and ability to engage with senior management. Track record in acting in a review function, providing thoughtful and constructive input Ability to reconcile, analyse and interpret data, and to summarise key messages for providing commentary Flexibility and ability to partner with other team members across global time zones Work effectively in agile environments, adaptable to shifting priorities and delivering value whilst dealing with high degrees of uncertainty and continuous change Proficient Microsoft Office skills, including Power Point and Excel; Jira and Confluence
