Who we are looking for
State Street uses third parties to support internal processes and to assist in delivery of products and services to clients. In order to manage the risks introduced by working with third-party service providers, State Street has a Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) program which established the policy and standards for conducting risk assessments and related governance activities. To aid the global team conducting these activities and the internal business areas they support, the Vice President of Governance and Risk Reporting will have primary oversight and responsibility of the program that manages risk data and related daily, monthly and quarterly enterprise-wide reporting, including reporting to various governance committees. This role will be instrumental in evolving the current risk reporting processes and materials. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong risk management capabilities, strong analytical capabilities and the ability to drive risk identification, communication, and mitigation through the identification of key risk themes; synthesize messages for executive audiences.
What you will be responsible for
Responsible for the governance and reporting program, including all aspects of daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting, and the data related to such reportingResponsible for identifying and implementing key controls related to the completeness and accuracy of third party risk data; maintain related proceduresEnsure program enhancements and IT system changes are captured and operationalized into the governance and reporting functionsUnderstand the connectivity of third party risk data to other risk data such as, risk taxonomy, issues management, incidents, risk and control self-assessmentsSet the agenda for the monthly Third Party Risk Committee (TPRC) and produce the materials; responsible for key messagesIdentify items for escalation to senior risk committeesMaintain the TPRC charter and serve as the Committee secretaryPartner with stakeholders outside the TPRM Program to socialize key reporting messages & gain consensus in advance of Committee meetingsLead target initiatives across the enterprise to enhance third party governance & reportingFlexibility in working outside of direct responsibilities to support emerging TPRM program requirements & changesWhat we value

Bachelor’s degree with 10+years of experience in related fieldsExperience within large complex organizations, including within financial services organizationsExperience working with various risk programs, including risk analysis and risk reportingExperience executing reporting to governance committeesStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly PowerPoint and ExcelPrior experience with PowerBI preferredAre you the right candidate? Salary Range:
$135,000 - $210,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
