Government Compliance Senior Financial Analyst

Amentum seeks a **Government Compliance Senior Financial Analyst** responsible for serving as a liaison between the Defense Contract Audit Agency and various internal departments. This requires interface with the appropriate receipt and review of the data response as well as coordinating delivery of the requested information to DCAA. Other requirements include assisting in the analysis and application of regulatory requirements to specific factual situations and developing well-written responses to government requests as needed. **US Citizenship is required. This is a remote-telework role.** **Principal Accountabilities:** + Facilitate technical communications between the DCAA auditors and the company regarding DCAA data requests while striving for seamless communication and effective messaging + Work with other team members to analyze and understand the data requests as well as providing guidance and direction for responding to DCAA + Meet with DCAA to analyze and review data requests; clarify responses as needed, ensuring satisfactory completion of audit and resolution of potential audit findings + Develop technically correct, customer-ready responses to government positions for management review & issuance **Knowledge and Skills:** + Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation cost principles with an ability to interpret regulations & refer to legal cases + Must have ability to deliver all assigned work on schedule, meeting DCAA’s requests and deadlines and ensuring favorable rapport is maintained + Strong oral and written communication skills, with an ability to converse with DCAA auditors and write professional memos and responses to audit positions + Strong organizational and problem solving skills with proven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail + Ability to handle multiple tasks with varying priorities in a fast-paced environment + Work effectively with other team members in carrying out assignments + Assist in determination of compliance with applicable regulations + Proficient in Microsoft office applications including Excel, Word and Power Point + Demonstrated commitment to self-development through on-the-job training or additional outside training **Experience & Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or a related discipline. + Four (4) or more years of relevant accounting or financial compliance experience. + Prior experience in a government finance/compliance position with DCAA audit experience preferred. + FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) experience preferred. + **US Citizenship is required.** **Light Travel:** + Ability to travel domestically and internationally on a limited basis.
