What you’ll do 

Cash Collection and Reconciliation: Take charge of collecting payments from businesses, and organizations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Employ your meticulous attention to detail to reconcile cash receipts and identify discrepancies, ensuring all financial records are balanced. Financial Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of financial regulations and government policies while collecting and managing cash. Ensure all transactions adhere to legal requirements and ethical practices. Account Management: Oversee the financial health of assigned government accounts. Maintain accurate records, update account information, and provide comprehensive reports to stakeholders, contributing to transparent financial management. Customer Relations: Engage in professional and courteous communication to address inquiries, resolve issues, and build positive relationships, reflecting the government's commitment to exceptional service. Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of accounts by use of the department policy and procedures Data Analysis: Utilize your analytical skills to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks within cash collection processes. Collaborate with financial analysts to make informed decisions and improve operational efficiency. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance cash collection procedures. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and expedite transactions, contributing to smoother financial operations. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare clear and concise financial reports for management and regulatory bodies. Maintain organized documentation that supports financial audits and compliance checks. Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies Participate in cross function projects as needed

 

What you bring

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field Ability to pass a background check. Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette. Organized, detail-oriented ability to multi-task with effective follow-through. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-performance environment. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem solving and use good judgment. Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and train others. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information using good judgment. Demonstrated ability to use online accounting systems preferred. SAP software experience a plus

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 84,300 - 183,700 (USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
