Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a Government Property Contract Specialist to join their Supply Chain Management Organization. The ideal candidate will apply government property principles, theories, and concepts, demonstrating a deep understanding of FAR- and DFAR-related government property clauses. This role involves supporting the development, preparation, review, and negotiation of government property clauses and provisions during both the proposal and execution phases of contracts.

Apply government property principles, theories, and concepts within the Supply Chain Management OrganizationSupport the development, preparation, review, and negotiation of government property clauses and provisions during contract proposals and executionCoordinate with proposal managers to ensure accurate capture of all property-related elements in proposals and subcontractsReview proposals for compliance with government regulations and company policiesCollaborate with legal, procurement, and proposal/capture teams to address contract terms that pose risksStay updated on changes in government property regulations and provide updates to relevant teamsProvide training and guidance to internal stakeholders and subcontractors on government property management practicesAssist with the resolution of contract-related issues, including property accountability, reporting, and dispositionConduct periodic audits and inventories of government property to ensure compliance and accountabilityWork in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment

Requirements

7+ years of experience with government contracting and government logisticsExperience with contract negotiation and proposal preparationExperience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointKnowledge of government regulations, including FAR and DFARSAbility to work independently and in a remote-based collaborative team environment, with minimal supervisionAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and seek input where neededPossession of excellent critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skillsPossession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education/Certification Requirements
