JOB PURPOSE:
Assist with the development and implementation of the vision, strategy and management of all federal, state and local governmental relations and activities. Support and advance the interests of the company at the federal, state and local levels to shape emerging issues and to enable the company to operate in its various markets without undue legislation, regulation or taxation restrictions. Ensure optimum positioning and protection of the Midco.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited college or university with strong academic credentials. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in federal or state legislative relations preferred. Specific relevant experience relating to North Dakota government relations required. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word required and experience with SharePoint, Excel and PowerPoint preferred.WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Be able to travel approximately 20% – 30% of working time. Employee may be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands.ABOUT MIDCO:
