Governmental Affairs/Communications- Intern Summer 2025
**Description** This is a Temporary Position during the Summer 2025 + Assist in researching a variety of topics and legislation related to electric cooperatives and the electric industry. + Assist in preparing reports, presentations and other content as directed. + Assist staff with outreach planning, coordination and execution. + Participates in brainstorming sessions. + Assist with the development of print, web-based on social medica communications content. + Assist with meetings and conferences. + The ability to communicate to diverse audiences on complex topics. The ability to handle stress and work well with others are stress and work well with others are essential functions of this position. + Performs any other related duties as required or assigned. **Minimum Qualifications** High School Diploma **ADDITIONAL INFORMATION** Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Ability to learn other software programs and applications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
