A Post-Sale Specialist will work within our Government Services business, specifically to develop and grow IRB Global government marketplace, The Post-Sale Specialist role will be a remote, field sales, based position, with sales calls and business development efforts being carried out Nationally. The Post-Sale Specialist will report directly to the Vice President, Government Business Development. The role will be integrated into the current business development field sales team, and will encompass the following:
3-5 years’ field sales or comparable professional experienceInitiative based, proven success in autonomous work environmentsTeam player with leadership abilities, who is goal oriented and results drivenCapable of succeeding in a highly dynamic environmentHighly organized and able to concurrently handle multiple tasks and projectsProfessional office work environmentImplement a business development/sales plan to identify and capture new business, while growing existing business in assigned territoryMonitor government agency websites for new requests for proposals (RFP) of auction servicesAnalyze RFPs to determine if they are worth pursuingConduct sales calls within assigned territory on local and federal government agencies to develop business opportunities, shape RFP’s, and win contractsOrganize and attend business development eventsAssist in the development and execution of annual business strategy and plansFlexible and willing to perform other tasks as assigned
